      • 1 large egg
      • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • For the Gooey Layer:
      • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
      • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
      • 3 large eggs
      • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
      • 4 cups powdered sugar
      • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
    Directions:
    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

    4. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate cake layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
    5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey (it will continue to firm up as it cools).
